Apple Orchard

The 4-year-old classes visit the Apple Orchard in September, touring inside the buildings and outside in the orchard. We also take a ride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin

Fire Station

All classes visit the fire station during October, fire safety month. We tour the fire station and look at the fire trucks and their equipment.

Taco Tico

The 3-year-old class takes a field trip to Taco Tico in December. We are given a tour of the restaurant seeing where they store all the food and where they make the tacos. We even get to eat a taco for snack.

Maggio-Dentist Office

The 3-year class visits Dr. Maggio's office during February. It gives the class a first-hand look at a dentist office. Dr. Maggio talks about how important it is to brush our teeth and what happens at your dentist appointment.

Hy-Vee

The 4-year-old classes visit Hy-Vee for a tour of the store. We get to see each Department of Hy-Vee.

Library

The 4-year-old classes visit the library in March. We are given a tour of the library. The children's librarian reads to us and talks about taking care of the books and how to check them out to take home.

Blanden

The 4-year-old classes take a field trip to the Blanden in April. We tour the museum looking at all the art work. We also get to make our own art to take home.

Kennedy Park

The 3-year-old classes visits Kennedy Park in April. We tour the nature center and see all the animals. We also hike to the bird blind to watch the birds.
